Bio
Lynn Kelleher has been making pine needle baskets since 1998. She makes coiled baskets primarily
out of the needles of the Ponderosa pine trees of Plumas County. Other materials she uses include, but are not limited to,
sea grass, round reed, corn husk and other natural plant material.
Lynn’s baskets are contemporary designs and shapes often based on ceramic and
glass plates, bowls and vases, with and without pedestals and lids.
Lynn’s baskets have been on display at the Northwoods Gallery in Chester since
2000. She is a member of the Bay Area Basket Makers Guild and has participated in art shows at Gualala California and Davis
where her baskets are also on display.
