Pam was born and raised in San Diego County. She studied Dance and Gymnastics, performed in Musicals and toured with the San Diego Ballet Co. She also became
a nationally ranked gymnast while attending San Diego State. She moved north in 1976 passing thru Mammoth Lakes, learned to snow ski, and landed in Plumas County 1978. She has been a full time resident, ever since.
After denying computers for years, Pam found an easy art program and began exploring, experimenting
and learning. She showed an interest in graphics and print production while working in a print shop in San Diego and
began producing menus and ads for local Plumas businesses in the early 90's.
Pam received her first digital camera in 1999 and started photographing the local area. With the discovery of the Macro lens, She got really excited and started shooting
everything "up close and personal". Feeling a sense of accomplishment and pride
in production, upgraded equipment and programs and started showing pieces in local businesses.
Pam enjoys close up detail and has found lots of it in flowers, she also enjoys the beauty
of landscapes. She has started a new business, Pam Trebes Photography specializing in "Photo Restoration" and producing "Limited Edition Prints" for her fellow artists.
Recently, Pam has been successful
with her version of "Still Life" and "Montages" a blend of several photographs resulting in an artful expression of ordinary
snapshots.
